| I need help getting my shift rod back into the cradle on my shift shaft.The engine is a 1989 evinrude 48spl.The rod as a fork at the end of it thats need to slide into the slots of the cradle.The problem is the cradle is so loose and as oil on it it slides back under the shift shaft so as i touch it.Need somway of holding it place or need to know how to get the shift rod back into the cradle? |

| The engine of my 2006 Dodge Ram1500 SLT 5.7 liters V8 Mega Cab has a stalling problem. The RPM returns to 0. Have tried several solutions but to no avail.
Now the engine goes off at times and have to start the engine with a little acceleration.
Traveling on 1600 km journey. Have covered only 600km. What can I do to keep going without the engine not shutting completely? Can there be a permanent solution to this problem and how? This beast has done only 37K. |

I have a very quick question that seems to be puzzling both myself and my Porsche mechanic (non-dealer).
My mechanic repaired a broken timing chain, and at my request, he replaced both along with replacing a new IMS also at my request and in anticipation that I would probably have problems with it anyhow. Shortly thereafter, one of the cylinders became scored. My mechanic explained it as being “out of round,” but I’ve been told by another Porsche mechanic that he has never heard of such a thing.
We sent the block to be bored and honed and shortly after getting it back, it appeared that three more cylinders (right) became scored. Block went back and re-honed and dipped. Now it appears that the other three cylinders are now scored (left) and it continues to have a tapping noise from the cylinder.
In your experience, can you tell me what you think may be causing this problem. We are stumped since we never had problems like this before.

Nor do i want 3 or more igits in the set within a one digit range of another example set 14 17 26 18 29 36 is ok but set 14 16 17 26 18 29 is not because the numbers 16,17,18 are within have range of one between them. Though if we have 14 16 17 26 27 29 is ok based on this rule only because the numbers 16,17 no 15 or 18 do that is ok, then 26,27 no 25 or 28 so thats ok. Also i do not want five or more numbers from the set in the same range of tens example set 10 13 16 18 19 21 is not ok because 10 13 16 18 and 19 are all in the same set of tens. When finishe i would like to be able to copy an paste view the set and the total number of sets, also like a copy of source code. I know its a lot of work but thank you. |
