"Definitely a huge step up from the old LaCrosse.""I relied heavily on the cruise control while driving to and from Mojave last week," notes assistant Web producer Carlos Lago, "but found our LaCrosse wouldn't hold the speed I had set it at. Or at least the (quite nifty) head-up display on the windshield wouldn't show it. Either way, every time I set my desired speed, at, say, 75 mph, I'd look down a few minutes later to see 74 mph or 73 mph. And it wouldn't go back up, neither on downhill or on level ground. So I pressed the Accel button on the steering wheel to bump the cruise speed to 76 mph, and the car accelerated up to 75 mph.
