Check out Hayato Muramatsu's custom '79 Datsun 620! Good luck finding any flaws! On my final trip to Japan as the Associate Editor for MT magazine, I had the opportunity to shoot several of Japan's coolest trucks. No matter how many trucks we had seen before in Japan, it seems on each trip we found cooler and cooler trucks. The truck that stood out to me the most at this year's shoot had to be Hayato's Datsun Unibody. Photo Gallery: 1979 Datsun 620 - Custom Trucks - Japan Mini Trucks - Mini Truckin' Magazine

1968 Datsun 521 Truck - Li'l Hustler
- 1968 Datsun 521 Truck - Li'l Hustler
This 1968 Datsun 521 is simply beautiful!Brandon Brooks has had many, tricked-out cars in the past. He knew, this time around, things wouldn' t be the same for him. "I wanted to build something different, that wasn't 'bagged or body-dropped, and something everybody would enjoy," said Brandon. Building a basic, clean and stock truck, however, wouldn't work with just any truck. Brandon chose a pretty-rare truck he knew would attract a lot of attention. He went with a '68 Datsun 521 pickup. Brandon went on to tell us, "The most interesting thing was not actually seeing the truck when I bought it. I actually had the motor work done, and the truck painted before I had it shipped to me." He did this because he knew there are a lot more Datsun shops in the So Cal area than in the East Coast, where he currently resides. So, finding the truck was the first step, getting it running and looking nice was second, but what about finding all of those hard-to-find parts he needed? That would be the biggest adventure of Brandon's build. Photo Gallery: 1968 Datsun 521 - Feature Truck - Mini Truckin' Magazine

Custom 1964 Datsun NL320 - What Is It?
- Custom 1964 Datsun NL320 - What Is It?
With about 1200 of these NL320's imported total, it's amazing to see one taken to this level!Depending on whom you ask, the Datsun NL320 is one of the rarest trucks ever. Its sister truck, the N320, is just as rare, but what separates them is the unibody of the NL320. From what we've been told, there were only about 1,200 or less of these imported. How many of these have survived, we may never know. A quick search on the Internet will turn up pages with tons of these little things, mostly in ruins and rusting away as future projects. Luckily for us, Scott Rupp was not one of those guys. When Scott first acquired his Datsun, he did sit on it for a bit. But when the time was right, he got on it. 1972 Datsun Fair Lady Z - Pick Your Five
- 1972 Datsun Fair Lady Z - Pick Your Five
Kelvin Hiraishi's right-hand drive 1972 Datsun Fairlady Z should be on everyones top 5 cars to own list. Check out why here.Facebook's "Pick Your Five!" is by far one of the most addicting applications on the site, from the "Five Things I Don't Leave the House Without" (my #1 is my iPhone) to the "Five Biggest Pet Peeves" (my favorite option was Vietnamese people who claim to be "half French") to the "Five People You Want on Your Side in a Bar Fight" (Jesus seems to be on everyone's list. Who knew JC loved fighting?). These top five lists can cover any topic you like making it another bottomless pit of more crap that I would rather not know about my friends. Yet, it's addicting because for some reason Facebook users love creating and filling out these lists, evidenced by my live feed mainly consisting of friends' "Five Favorite Movies of All Time," "Five Bands I've Seen Live in Concert," "Five Albums that Shaped Me," and "Five People I Want to Punch in the Face." Sure, I've done my fair share of top fives but it became endless and grueling until I came across one that actually stumped me: "Five Cars I Want in My Garage." Mike Braaten's 1970 Datsun Roadster represents the last year of production for this unique car. See how he rebuilt this car from the ground up.Mike Braaten's 1970 Datsun Roadster represents the last year of production for this unique car. While the Roadster was a great car in its own right, Datsun simply had to let it go to make way for the new kid on the block, the much-anticipated 240Z (both known as the Fairlady in Japan). The journey of Mike's car almost parallels the journey of the entire model line itself. Photo Gallery: 1600 Roadster - 1970 Datsun - Super Street Magazine
